Are Renters a Problem for Your HOA?

Many associations treat renters as second-class citizens. While they may not purposely discriminate against them, they typically exclude them from the benefits of the community; simply because they do not have voting rights. Renters often have no clue what is happening in the community because they simply are not communicated with.

Satellite Dish Dilemma

Size does matter! You cannot restrict any dish or antenna that is one meter or smaller in diameter. I’m no math wiz, but one meter in diameter is a pretty big satellite dish at 39.37 inches across.

The Benefits of Incorporating your Homeowners’ Association.

… approximately ten percent of HOAs have either purposely or mistakenly allowed their non-profit corporation status to lapse. Given the potential for annual turnover in homeowners’ association board members, it is possible that the documentation needed to refile paperwork with the state is lost in the transition. Or perhaps more likely, the benefits of staying incorporated are unclear to those in charge.
